I became a beneficiary of Pangarap for seven (7) years, starting at the Paliparan Site and later staying at the Pangarap Shelter in Pasay. I am now employed as a Project Manager in an IT company, and with Pangarap’s help, I served as a branch manager.
Pangarap has had a huge impact on my life – they built my confidence and helped me overcome the fear of trying things for myself, such as pursuing my studies even when we were not financially capable. With Pangarap’s support, I achieved things I never thought I could, like showcasing my talents, building myself up, learning how to handle problems, and gaining important life skills. My journey with them allowed me to study, find a job, and even help my family and my community. I feel truly blessed, and Pangarap’s impact on my life is immeasurable.
The valuable lessons I learned from Pangarap are grounded in three core values taught by the Brothers: Caring – not just for myself but for others; Teaching – sharing knowledge and skills; and Healing – understanding and addressing the roots of challenges.
I still feel connected to Pangarap because of the bond we built. The brotherhood and support system I found in Pangarap remain strong to this day. It’s a bond that continues to lift us up through life’s challenges. It’s the feeling of knowing I have someone I can talk to about my struggles.
To the children in Pangarap: study well, follow the rules, push harder, enjoy your childhood, and choose happiness. Pangarap gave me light when I thought my path was dark, and it can do the same for you. Overall, to Pangarap, I can proudly say – Good job!
